Leith Anderson Presents at the Inaugural Event of the Leadership Forum
The inaugural event of the Northwest Conference Leadership Forum was held on February 26th at Faith Covenant Church in Burnsville, Minnesota. Leith Anderson of Wooddale Church spoke to some 200 pastors and church leaders about the cultural challenges and social trends affecting the church. A nationally known speaker and author, Leith offered practical insights based on his years of working on the cutting edge of church health and growth.

The presentation also featured Q&A time, allowing for an interactive discussion about specific issues being faced in the Conference.

Church pastors and leaders were informed, equipped, and energized at the end of the event. Many had spirited discussions on their drives home and there was a sense of anticipation as they planned how to use the practical knowledge they had gained as well as for the next Leadership Forum event.

We are offering an audio CD of the afternoon session free for the asking. Just call us at or click here to email us. To learn more about Leith's presentation click here.

Next Leadership Forum Event: April 5th with Lyle Schaller
The Los Angeles Times calls him "the most respected observer of the American church scene." Christianity Today calls him "the master technician of church mechanics." Lyle Schaller, the dean of church consultants, will be presenting at the next Leadership Forum event on April 5th from 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at Excelsior Covenant Church in Excelsior, Minnesota. A prolific author, Schaller's books include Innovations in Ministry: Models for the Twenty-First Century, 44 Ways to Expand the Teaching Ministry of Your Church, and Looking in the Mirror: Self-Appraisal in the Local Church. His topic will be The New Context for Ministry.

We encourage you to attend -- and to invite others to attend -- and join your colleagues in this rare opportunity to learn from one of the great thinkers and teachers on church growth and health. This event is free, but registration is required, and the registration deadline is March 18th. Register by calling the Conference office at , or click here to email us.
