The Northwest Conference Leadership Forum

Dear Pastors and Church Leaders,

Greetings from your conference office!  Thanks for your hard work and commitment to our common ministry.

We have two exciting leadership development events to offer to you. There is no cost for either of these events and we believe they will be a direct benefit to you and your ministry. We encourage you to come and bring a number of your church leaders. A lunch will be provided and you will have a great chance to interact with fellow pastors and leaders from around our conference.

Our first Leadership Forum for this year will be held on February 26, 2005 at Faith Covenant Church in Burnsville, Minnesota. The topic is “Church and Culture,” and the presenter will be Leith Anderson, pastor of Woodale Church in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. He will address the importance for the church of relating to our contemporary society from a kingdom perspective.

The day begins at 10:00 AM and concludes at 2:30 PM, and will include opportunities for discussion.  This is a chance to hear from one of the most effective pastors in the country.  We offer this Forum to you to aid you in your ministry.

While there is no cost, we need a count from each church indicating how many will be attending. Please e-mail, or call us with the number of people coming from your congregation.  The deadline is February 11, 2005.

Our next Leadership Forum will be on April 5, 2005 with Lyle Schaller. Be looking for further details!

We want to do all we can to assist in bringing the good news of the gospel to the lost in our communities. We look forward to your participation in these sessions.

Jim Fretheim, Mark Stromberg, and Jon Kramka
