Thank you for your interest in Women Ministries of the Northwest Conference (WMNWC)

Advancing God's kingdom through women.

Equipping women for growth and service.
"to equip [God's] people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ." (Ephesians 4:12-13)

Connecting women in transformational relationships and uniting them in Christ to impact our world.

2011 Annual Project: Just Women

Lydia, mentioned in Acts 16, is a powerful role model for the church: responsive to the gospel, evangelistic, gifted, persuasive, just, and generous. She also exemplifies the core values of contemporary ministry to and through women Project 2011 is Just Women. Just as an adverb, "only"; just as an adjective, "righteous." It is about strengthening women - both individuals and leaders of ministries to and through women - drawing out and encouraging the spirit of Lydia. It will offer opportunities and resources to strengthen the unique gifts of women to grow and strengthen the church; it will also strengthen a just response to justice issues.

Donations to Project 2011 will:

  • create the Lydia resources and opportunities for the year;
  • launch a healing component to the AVA ministry; and
  • launch the new human trafficking effort to prevent trafficking.

More importantly, donations will offset the financial challenges the Department of Women Ministries has experienced. Funds will poise the department for its next chapter of God's assignments, furthering the legacy of advancing God's kingdom through women.

Checks can be made out to Women Ministries (memo: "Annual Project 2011) and mailed to 8303 W Higgins Road, Chicago, Illinois, 60631.

Visit the Just Women page on the ECC website.
