S.A.L.T. (Student Action Leadership Training)
S.A.L.T. is a one day training event for student leaders (who are current high school students) and adult staff to be more fully-informed and equipped with insights and tools to lead their youth groups and peers effectively in the church and within their wider communities.

This year S.A.L.T. will take place on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011 (Location: Bloomington Covenant Church).
Tiger McLuen from Youth Leadership will look at Lessons of Leadership from the book of Joshua. What are the insights and ideas that Joshua learned as he took over leadership from Moses? How can we be leaders that God can use in our schools and churches?
S.A.L.T. stands for Student Action Leadership Training. We want our students to be people of influence for God in their world where only they can go. This training event for high schoolers is committed to challenge each student to develop the inner qualities and characteristics of a Christian leader, and to equip them with additional insights and tools to be a Christian leader in their world in the areas of evangelism/outreach, discipleship, fellowship (community building), missions/service and worship.
Cost: $20, includes lunch and snacks (adult leaders come free)
Registration deadline: the group registration form and check must be submitted to the Northwest Conference office by Monday, October 3rd.
