"The Northwest Conference has been instrumental in our church's revitalization and growth. It was literally one of the major lifelines that God has used to re-tool our established rural congregation for ministry in the 21st Century. I shudder to think of where we would be with the Godly advice, training, encouragement and support of our Northwest Conference and it's wonderful staff. Many of the exciting things happening in and through our church right now have direct ties to the help received through the ministry of the Northwest Conference!"
We are a regional conference of the Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC), which is a rapidly growing multiethnic denomination in the United States and Canada with ministries on five continents of the world. Founded in 1885 by Swedish immigrants, the ECC values the Bible as the word of God, the gift of God's grace and ever-deepening spiritual life that comes through a faith with Jesus Christ, the importance of extending God's love and compassion to a hurting world, and the strength the comes from unity within diversity.
We are:
- Evangelical, but not exclusive
- Biblical, but not doctrinaire
- Traditional, but not rigid
- Congregational, but not independent
